Canon's website doesn't distinguish 32 and 64Bit I know this is too late, but when moving to a 64-bit OS it's always better to do the research yourself to find out And no...I don't think you should pay $40 to get your scanner to work on a 64-bit OS, but in this case it may be cheaper than buying a new scanner... So if you have a qualifying version of Windows 7 (Pro and Ultimate, but not Home or Home Premium), and a PC that supports virtual systems, you can resurrect your scanner It is sad that hardware manufacturers make your hardware obsolete this way.
